Our Mission Statement
The Bible says in Revelation 21:2 that “…prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband”. As such, our core mission here at Passion Bereavement Care is to provide the deceased with a dignified funeral service as well as to honour them by dressing them up beautifully like a bride waiting to be received back into Heaven to be by our Lord’s side.
The continuation of the verse from Revelation 21:4 says “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away”. This verse also embodies our desire to bring the love of Christ and God’s heart to bring healing and reconciliation to grieving families, assuring them that the deceased is in perfect peace and joy with our Heavenly Father.
Our founder and director, Deborah Kang, experienced a calling from God to serve in this industry shortly after helping an elderly lady with her funeral rites. This gave her great satisfaction, which lead her to set up this business.
While attending a church service one day, Deborah was bestowed with a vision of a child running to the Father hugging Him tightly and crying emotionally saying “Papa! Papa!, I am back”. The vision that Deborah saw would be related to the story found in Luke 15:11-32.
It inspired Deborah and her team to remain committed to this vision where every single person regardless of their circumstances in life can be pleasingly prepared and adorned when meeting our Lord.
Every single family that has lost their loved ones can rejoice in the knowledge that their loved ones have been granted eternal life through returning to our Lord’s side.
Passion Bereavement Care’s vision for the company is based on the two commandments that Deborah felt God has commanded her to do, which is (1) “To be the light in the darkness” and (2) “To have authority over the darkness”.
“I have made you a light for the gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth” (Acts 13:47)
